The adviser is conceived as a consulting committee, in order to support the scientific quality, contentwise Excellency and strategic adjustment of the Vision Academy operationally, contentwise and organizational. Further the scientific adviser supports the international anchorage of the Vision Academy and the national and international contact care to federations and networks.

The members are renowned national and international experts from science, research policy and practice.

Tasks of the adviser:

• Development of suggestions for the general development of the Vision Academy and integration into the economy in Germany and Europe
• Definition of new setting of tasks for the Vision Academy
• Obtainment of information about current market tendencies
• Evaluation of the existing education level in Europe
• Determination of the education need in optical technologies and industrieller image processing in economics and science
• Development of suggestions for the anchorage of the Vision Academy in Europe
• Monitoring of training course contents
• Development of suggestions for the quality assurance of the curriculum of the Vision Academy
